Description: Winching in rugged terrain poses a variety of challenges. Learn how to assess and perform winching recovery with the realism of more complex circumstances. Bring your own gear and review equipment assessment, or use Barlow equipment.
Location: Table Mesa, AZ
Vehicle requirements: 4x4 vehicles with at minimum: 4-low, 33-inch tires, rear locker, recovery points. Factory skid plates are okay. No low-hanging side steps or roof-top tents.
Course Requirements: Prerequisite: 100 Explorers Course, 102 4WD Recovery or previous experience. Register in advance. Participants must be 18 or older.
Course length: 6-7 hours
