AEV Tree Strap

Treading lightly and protecting our natural resources when out on the trail is imperative to ensure that future generations continue to have access to public land that is open for recreational off-roading. 

AEV’s Tree Strap allows a winch cable to be safely anchored to a tree’s trunk when recovering a stuck vehicle without causing permanent damage. Without using a Tree Strap, the steel cable or synthetic winch rope will gouge a tree’s bark under the extreme forces that winching can generate—damage that can ultimately kill the tree. Using a Tree Strap displaces that energy and preserves the tree.

The AEV Tree Strap is made of 3-inch wide polyester webbing with reinforced eyelets. To further maximize the service life of this Tree Strap, a unique edge guard was added for improved protection against cuts and abrasion.
